PhotoCraft

An early image editor in the ArtCraft family, with layers, masks and PSD workflows.

Overview

PhotoCraft is a standalone Crafting App, not another name for the main ArtCraft AI studio. Its official page describes layered image editing and provides desktop installers and a WebAssembly build. The family directory still labels it Early Alpha.

What it is for

  • Experiment with layers, masks, adjustments and brush-based edits.
  • Evaluate an emerging open-source Photoshop-style workflow.

What to check first

  • Official PSD claims are not a substitute for testing your own complex documents.
  • Early Alpha is an explicit maturity limit, even when installers are available.

A useful first test

Use a disposable layered image. Check both the visible result and the saved document in the next application in your workflow.

Cost and hosting

Free open-source application; check bundled-asset notices.
