What this static software directory stores in your browser and how external links work.

In your browser

The site does not create accounts, accept uploads or embed advertising. Your appearance choice is saved in localStorage under osa-theme; your analytics choice uses osa-analytics-consent. If storage is unavailable, these choices apply only to the current page.

Search and category filtering run in your browser. Search terms may appear in the page URL so a filtered view can be shared; avoid putting sensitive information into a search query.

Optional Google Analytics

On the production domain, Google Analytics 4 loads only after you choose Allow analytics. Before permission, or after declining, this code sends no requests to Google Analytics. Local and pages.dev previews do not load the Google tag. Browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals disable analytics.

When enabled, Google receives page views and technical information such as browser/device information and network request data. Analytics cookies identify a browser across visits; we configure a 90-day cookie lifetime. We send the page path without search parameters or fragments, and only the origin of the referring website. Directory search terms are not sent as analytics events. Advertising features, Google signals and enhanced measurement are disabled. Google processes data under its own policies.

Hosting and external websites

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Delivery of a page involves technical request data such as IP address and user agent at the hosting layer, independently of your optional analytics choice. Cloudflare’s policies govern its own processing.

Official websites and source repositories are external destinations. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them. Software downloads are linked to their official projects rather than mirrored here.

Your choices

Use Analytics preferences at the bottom of a production page to change your choice. Declining stops collection, clears accessible analytics cookies and reloads a page if the tag was already running. Clearing browser storage removes saved preferences but does not delete data already processed by Google. JavaScript is not required to read comparisons or source links; with JavaScript disabled, analytics does not load.
